Audit process

A clear path from draft pack to findings memo

This page maps how Fieldhouse runs a financial audit of applications when your lodgement date is fixed and the schedules are still moving.

  1. Scoping call (30–40 minutes)

We confirm facility or funder type, decision deadline, entity structure, and which schedules are still draft. You leave with a fee range and a document checklist — not a sales deck.

  2. Confidentiality note & intake

A short engagement note covers confidentiality and scope boundaries. You upload the pack and source worksheets. We confirm completeness within one business day or list what is missing.

  3. Desk review

We read narrative against cash-flow, debt service, collateral notes, and covenant language. Modest stress is applied to peak months where utilisation or repayment claims look thin.

  4. Findings memo & clarification call

You receive a ranked memo and annotated notes. One call walks through blocking items so schedule owners know what to change before lodgement.

  5. Optional re-check

If you revise material schedules, a light re-check can be added for an agreed fee. We do not re-open unlimited rounds inside the base engagement.

What you prepare

  • Full draft pack as the lender or funder will see it
  • Source spreadsheets behind the published schedules
  • Any checklist or template supplied by the decision-maker
  • Notes on figures still under negotiation

What we never claim

  • Approval odds or “committee readiness” scores
  • Legal opinions on security documents
  • Formal assurance under audit standards
  • Advocacy calls to your bank or funder

Walkthrough sessions follow the same spine

Pre-Submission Walkthroughs compress intake and review into a half-day with your team present — still rooted in the same financial audit of applications discipline.
