Data we collect
Contact forms and email may include your name, email address, phone number if offered, engagement preferences, and the content of your message. Engagement files may contain personal data embedded in application packs you send us. Website logs may record IP address and basic technical data.
Purposes
We use data to respond to inquiries, perform agreed audits, issue invoices, improve site reliability, and meet legal record-keeping duties in Taiwan.
Retention
Inquiry messages are kept up to 24 months unless a longer engagement relationship continues. Engagement working papers are retained for seven years unless a different period is required by law or agreed in writing. Cookie preference records follow the durations described on the cookies page.
Your rights
Subject to Taiwan personal data protection rules, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, and you may object to certain uses. To exercise rights, email hello@connecteddataeng.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent Taiwan authority.
International transfers
We primarily store and review data in Taiwan. If a tool or contractor processes data outside Taiwan, we take steps appropriate under applicable law, including contractual safeguards, before the transfer.
Security
We limit access to engagement files to assigned auditors and use reasonable technical and organizational measures. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive identifiers in initial web forms.
